is the parent bank holding company of First Federal Savings Bank of Elizabethtown, which was chartered in 1923. The Bank serves the needs and caters to the economic strengths of the local communities in which it operates and strives to provide a high level of personal and professional customer service. The Bank offers a variety of financial services to its retail and commercial banking customers. These services include personal and corporate banking services, and personal investment financial counseling services. Today, the Bank serves Central Kentucky through its 14 full-service banking centers in six contiguous counties.
Keith Johnson was named President and Chief Executive Officer of the First Financial Service Corporation and First Federal Savings Bank in 1997. He joined the Bank as Comptroller in 1993 and was appointed Executive Vice President in 1995. Before joining the Corporation, he was a principle in the accounting firm of Whelan, Johnson, Doerr, Pike & Pawley, P.S.C. He has been a licensed CPA since 1984.
Greg Schreacke joined First Financial Service Corporation in January 2004 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining the Corporation, Mr. Schreacke served as senior vice president and controller for Team Financial, Inc. a $700 million financial holding company headquartered in Paola, Kansas; vice president and controller for Hemet Federal Savings and Loan, a $1.1 billion savings bank headquartered in Hemet, California; senior accounting officer at Mercantile Trust & Savings Bank, a $450 million bank headquartered in Quincy, Illinois; and as founder and shareholder in Swann, Schreacke & Associates P.C. a certified public accounting practice headquartered in Quincy, Illinois.
