Presenter - Jean R. Hale, Chairman, President and CEO

Jean R. Hale exemplifies the opportunities that are available to employees who start with a small company and grow with the company. Ms. Hale began her banking career with Community Trust when it was known as Pikeville National Bank and Trust Company and had assets of approximately $17 million and has participated in the growth of the Company to $3 billion in assets. During her 38 years with the company, she has held numerous positions including AVP of Consumer Lending, Compliance Officer, VP, SVP and EVP of Commercial Lending, President and CEO of the bank subsidiary, Community Trust Bank, and was named to her current position of President and CEO of Community Trust Bancorp, Inc. in 1999 and Chairman of the Board of both the Corporation and its bank subsidiary in 2005. Ms. Hale is also very active in economic development and education initiatives.

Currently, Hale is Chairman of the Kentucky Economic Development and Finance Authority Board and the KCTCS Foundation Board. She is also serving on the Board of the Eastern Kentucky Exposition Center. Previously, Hale served as Chairman of the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and Director of the Cincinnati Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland for 6 years. Ms. Hale is a graduate of Pikeville College and the Stonier Graduate School of Banking.

Ms. Hale lives in Pikeville and has a son, daughter in-law and granddaughter residing in Nashville, TN.

Presenter - Mark A. Gooch, Executive Vice President and Treasurer

Mark A Gooch is Executive Vice President and Secretary of Community Trust Bancorp and President and CEO of Community Trust Bank, Inc. Mr. Gooch is responsible for the operation of the Bank and all major areas of the Bank report to him including four Regional Presidents, Finance, Legal, Credit Administration, Information Technology and Operations. Mr. Gooch is a Director of Community Trust Bank, Inc.

Mr. Gooch has 26 years of banking experience and has held the positions of Branch Manager, Consumer Lender, Commercial Lender, Compliance Officer, Chief Operations Officer, Director, President and CEO, all at First Security Bank and Trust which was acquired by Community Trust Bancorp in 1987. Mark was responsible for the Operations area for Community Trust Bancorp, Inc. from January 1997 until June 1999 when he assumed his current role as President and CEO of Community Trust Bank, Inc.

Mr. Gooch graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Finance and has served on the Board of Directors of Leadership Pike County, Pike County Chamber of Commerce and the Kentucky Bankers Association.

He lives with his wife, son and two daughters in Pikeville, Kentucky.
