INVESTKentucky LLC was formed specifically to facilitate these investment conferences to bring together senior management of select Kentucky public companies with regional and national members of the financial community. The INVESTKentucky steering committee, that includes chief financial officers and investor relations professionals from participating companies, firmly believes in the benefits that a regional equity conference provides to participating companies, to fund managers and to the entire region.

The 2004 inaugural conference brought together a dozen public companies, including Yum! Brands and Brown-Forman Corporation, with analysts, and money managers from the region and from New York, Atlanta, Chicago, St. Louis and Charlotte. More than 200 participated in the event, which featured a keynote speaker from the Securities and Exchange Commission.
